Is Shakeology Dairy and Gluten Free?
A big question I get asked a lot is if Shakeology is dairy and gluten free? With all our different types of issues in America this is a legitimate question. Is Shakeology Dairy Free?
Yes and No, it just depends on which type you get. The Vegan formulas for Shakeology are dairy free and contain no animal products. The original chocolate the Greenberry and strawberry are made with whey protein which is a milk product. The Vegan formula uses brown sprouted rice, along with a pea protein for its protein source. Some people feel it is grainier than the original.
I've heard from those that are extremely lactose intolerant is that the original actually don’t upset their stomach either. Certain whey proteins can but Shakeology isn’t one of them does. If you are not sure which one to use I recommend trying one of the Vegan blends, and if it doesn’t work you have 30 days to send it back risk free.
Is Shakeology Gluten Free?
Yes! Shakeology is gluten free. It contains no wheat products only certain grasses. All six different flavors are gluten free so you can try any of them.
